Timeframe: August 2019 - December 2020 | Role: Graphic Designer
The University of Florida RecSports offers various fitness and outdoor adventure experiences to the UF community through state-of-the-art facilities, nature activities, trips, sports tournaments, and more. The goal of RecSports is to contribute to student success and well-being through an active lifestyle. As a graphic designer at UF RecSports, I worked with colleagues from different departments, marketing assistants, and fellow designers in order to create joyful and professional graphic design work such as TV displays, short animations, posters, buttons, banners, and many more materials. I often used Adobe Creative Suite and I always aimed to maintain RecSports brand identity while bringing new ideas and colors to different sports events and experiences RecSports has to offer. My work was displayed in multiple locations, including the Southwest Recreation Center, Student Recreation & Fitness Center, Broward Outdoor Recreation Complex, and Lake Wauburg.
I mostly worked on the materials that promote outdoor events and activities like sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding, backpacking, and tower climbing. That is why most of my designs are inspired by nature, outdoor environments, and adventurous spirits and experiences.
